Melanoma Three-Part Live Webinar Series

Take part in a three-part live webinar series designed for people affected by melanoma, including patients and carers.

Presented by Melanoma Patients Australia (MPA) in partnership with Melanoma Institute Australia (MIA), this free weekly series offers a unique chance to learn directly from leading clinicians and members of the melanoma community. Each session explores a new topic, followed by an interactive panel Q&A.

Sessions run on Tuesday evenings over three consecutive weeks. You can choose to register for one or all webinars using the links provided below.

Join us for the first session in this special webinar series as we shine a spotlight on the vital role melanoma nurses play in patient care. Learn how they support, guide, and advocate for patients and carers throughout the melanoma journey, and how you can make the most of their expertise.

  • A melanoma community member sharing lived experience

Immunotherapy can be life‑changing, but it may also affect the body’s hormone systems. In this expert-led session, we’ll unpack the endocrine side effects of immunotherapy, why they occur, how they’re diagnosed, and what patients and carers should look out for.

In this final session of our webinar series, leading melanoma experts will explain what a sentinel lymph node biopsy involves, why it may be recommended, and how it can help guide treatment decisions.
