On 5th March 2025 our Telehealth Nurse Manager, Emma Zurawel, alongside Consumer Advisory Group member Sally Lobley and Audrey Colbert (Support Group Facilitator and Peer Support Volunteer) attended the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) From Patient to Partner Workshop in Melbourne. The event took place ahead of the National Cancer Survivorship Conference 2025 hosted by COSA.
It was an insightful day of learning, knowledge-sharing, and networking. Participants walked away with a deeper understanding of the importance of involving consumers as partners in shaping initiatives, driving decision-making, and advancing research.
The consumer voice is a critical element in ensuring cancer care is truly patient-centred, and at Melanoma Patients Australia, we are dedicated to amplifying that voice in every step of the process.
