On 20th and 21st March in Melbourne, Melanoma Patients Australia joined key discussions at the Cancer Sector Roundtable and Australian Cancer Nursing and Navigation Program (ACNNP) Governance & Priority Group Sessions.
As one of 12 organisations funded to provide Specialist Support Services under the ACNNP, we embraced this opportunity to collaborate and strengthen cancer care services for all Australians.
Day 1: Key updates from the Department of Health and Aged Care, Cancer Australia & NACCHO, plus insights from ACNNP organisations on early progress and future goals.
Day 2: A deep dive into knowledge sharing, service development, mental health support, and ensuring culturally safe, accessible cancer care—especially for CALD communities.
Consumer engagement remains at the heart of our mission, and we are committed to implementing these learnings to enhance our Specialist Melanoma Support Services.
We look forward to continuing our role in the ACNNP and ensuring every Australian affected by melanoma receives the care and support they need.
