The Classic Ladies Foundation (CLF) was formed in 2016, comprising of a small team of ladies as a new, stand-alone, charitable arm to the ever growing annual event that is the Nutiren Classic Sale & Campdraft held annually at AELEC Tamworth. The CLF works together in the lead up to, and during the Classic to ensure fundraising and donations to charities are conducted in a more structured manner. Their fundraising efforts have also been expanded to include a number of other events, including a one day fundraising event at the Warwick Gold Cup Campdraft and Rodeo and the Women In Campdrafting ladies clinic.
In this year’s Classic, Melanoma Patients Australia and Black Dog Institute were the chosen charities. A massive $144,968 was raised over the week and we would like to thank everyone that contributed to this fantastic amount.
Funds raised will go towards supporting patients with melanoma in rural and regional areas of Australia.
If you would like to raise money for MPA, either as an individual or part of a group, we would love for you to organise an event that raises awareness about melanoma and supports the work we do. Please click here for more information. An easy way to set up a fundraiser is via our JustGiving page.
