We recently conducted a review of our membership program, alongside other programs and offerings from MPA.
Our vision is that all Australians affected by melanoma receive the best support, information, treatment and care. We want to ensure that no one affected by melanoma walks alone.
Either as an individual or part of a group, MPA would love for you to organise an event or activity that raises awareness about the impact of melanoma and supports the work we do. Get creative! Host an event, or on your birthday or special occasion ask for donations instead of gifts. You can also set up a tribute page in memory of a loved one, where family and friends can donate and write messages of love and support in lieu of flowers.
We’ve outlined some tips and ideas for how to get started with your community fundraiser and how to make it as successful as possible.
MPA would not be able to provide its support services without its volunteers. The members of the MPA Board, the support group facilitators, the regional advocates, the people who help at conferences, fundraising events and awareness days and others willing to share their stories are all volunteers. They have all been impacted by melanoma in some way and want to give back and make a difference.
We have a place for you too, no skills or experience required, just a willingness to give your time and energy to help out so that MPA can continue to provide much-needed support and information to the thousands of Australians affected by melanoma each year.

Your membership of Melanoma Patients Australia is an important way to support our organisation and help us work towards our vision to create a world where no one affected by melanoma walks alone.
If you would like to become a member, then you must apply by completing the Membership Application Form. We will review applications quarterly as we are run on a volunteer basis. Once we review and approve your application, we will issue you an invoice for your membership fee.
As an Ordinary Member of Melanoma Patients Australia; you will receive the following services for the current Ordinary Membership Fee of $50 per annum:
As an Associate Member of Melanoma Patients Australia; you will receive the following services for an Associate Membership for a one-off $5 fee.
