We want to change this, and at Melanoma Patients Australia we have been working for 15 years towards preventing melanoma, and to supporting Australian’s affected by it. But we know there is still a lot of work to do. That’s why we’ve started the Melanoma Movement, an easy way for all Australian’s to play a part in taking a stand against melanoma, the most deadly form of skin cancer.
Everyone can do something – whether it’s committing to get your skin checked regularly, or as a business or community raising awareness of skin cancer through a range of activities – there’s something we can all take on that will help take another step in our movement against melanoma.
To kick-start the Melanoma Movement, you can help us take a stand against this devastating disease. With each commitment, we are shining a light on melanoma and raising awareness of the importance of regular self-skin checks and practicing sun safety.
