MPA is a national non-profit provider of free specialist supportive care programs and services for people affected by melanoma.  Our support services include a Melanoma Support Line, Melanoma Telehealth Nursing Service, Melanoma Counselling Service, Melanoma Support Groups. Our support programs include Melanoma Patient Information and Education, Melanoma Patient & Carer Advocacy Program and Melanoma Peer Support Program.

MPA does not provide medical or clinical treatment, but works alongside healthcare teams to offer specialist, patient-centred support at key transitions and across the care pathway.

You can refer a patient by completing a simple referral form or encouraging them to connect directly with our support services.

Patients can be referred at any stage—from diagnosis through treatment, survivorship, or advanced care—whenever additional support may be beneficial.

All MPA melanoma specialist support programs and services are provided at no cost to patients and their families.

Once a referral is received, an experienced melanoma nurse navigator will connect with the patient to assess their needs and provide tailored support and information, including a referral of supportive care programs and services.
