Checking your Skin

It is important that you regularly undertake self skin examinations in addition to professional skin checks under the care and management of a healthcare professional. Partners or friends can help in the hard to see places.

The most important things to look for are any changes, including existing and new moles that appear on your skin.

The ABCDE guidelines can be used to check your skin.

This March Melanoma Patients Australia Ltd is supporting Lymphoedema Awareness Month. Secondary lymphoedema is the most common type developing following damage to the lymphatic system. The damage may occur as a result of some cancer treatments including the removal of lymph nodes, following radiotherapy to lymph node groups or with the progression of malignant disease. The onset of lymphoedema may be at any time. It may occur within months of the damage or it may appear years later.
We are also encouraging people who are living with lymphoedema to talk about their experiences, tell their GPs, practitioners, family and friends.

The contribution to MPA is paid by the retailer, which means that Folo will cost you absolutely nothing on top of what you already spend online.
