Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People

Our Mob and Cancer, developed for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, provides information about cancer, including Melanoma.

LGBTIQA+

Studies show that lifestyle factors such as higher rates of smoking and alcohol use, combined with lower participation in cancer screening place LGBTQ communities at greater risk of cancer compared to the general population. Can We is a platform created by ACON, to help each other stay healthy and reduce our risk of cancer.

Older People

As people age the likelihood of being diagnosed with cancer increases. For many older adults, a diagnosis of cancer can present particular challenges associated with physical, functional, social or emotional issues. The Older Can resources have been developed to help older Australians living with cancer, and those close to them.

Young People

Canteen, Camp Quality and Redkite are working together to provide Cancer Hub. A one-stop shop where families impacted by cancer can easily access the practical and emotionalĀ support they need, when they need.
